Combined usury and corrosion testing cnc machine
Problem:
Mechanical and chemical degradation of materials due to usury and corrosion is a critical issue in many industrial sectors. Standard degradation test machines have two fundamental limitations:
1- Usury contact is not completely reliable since it is not sufficiently deep
2- Usury and corrosion tests are normally done independently while they actually happen at the same time.
Solution:
Along with the engineering department of the University of Trento we have invented, designed and produced this complex work center that solves critical issues first exposed.
Tribocorr is the first tribological test with usury and corrosion combined and certified according to ASTM European standards.
After years of research we have been able to develop a usury contact process within an electrochemical cell (bathtub-axis B), i.e. in a environment where you can precisely monitor corrosion phenomenologies.All of these process enhancements combined with system CNC configuration result in a product of great efficiency, safety and ease of use.
